Paul McCartney And Wings Red Rose Speedway - poss promo and signed by Denny Laine

The matrix numbers are YEX 903-4 and YEX 904-3
There is no "Side 1" or "Side 2" on the labels

The cover has been hand signed on the front in black biro by Denny Laine – my friend was in a semi pro band that supported Denny at the Crewe Railway Club in 1998 and he got a few items signed for me including this cover. It is 100% genuine.
On the bottom left of the back cover there is a gold stamp that, unfortunately, has been scratched out (see picture 4). Looking closely it looks like the top line reads "Property of ???? (it could be E.M.I.P or E.M.I.R)" and the third line reads "Not For Sale". Looking at the end of the second line the last word could be "McCartney".

The gatefold cover is in very good plus condition, it does have a little shelfwear, mainly on the corners, and a little ringwear noticable on the rear. The spine is fully readable and the booklet is still attached. I've just noted whilst listing it that the left side of the cover, as you look at the opening, has come away (as if it was a double LP sleeve) - just needs a spot of glue.

Visually, the record itself appears to be in beautiful condition. It still has a lovely shine with only the lightest of marks to be seen. The last time I played it, which was some time ago, I noted that it played marvellous with no surface noise at all (I don't want to doubt my younger self but, for selling purposes I'll add that there may be the odd spot of ultra light crackle here and there).
The record is housed in a white EMI inner that has yellowed a touch but is fully intact.
To sum up – A possible promo copy with beautiful vinyl in a cover signed on the front by Denny Laine.
