THE BEATLES - 'PAST MASTERS VOL. 1 & 2'
This great sounding genuine 1st pressing double album dates from initial October 1988 as 'BPM 1'
Being a true 1st pressing both discs have matt black & silver Parlophone labels with 'Manufactured in the UK..' rims.
Disc 1 matrix numbers: BPM 11 A-1-1-1 & BPM 11 B-1-1-1 ('BTM' corrected on both sides)
Vinyl weight: 118g
Disc 2 matrix numbers: BPM 12 A-1-1- & BPM 12-B-1-1- ('BTM' corrected on both sides)
Vinyl weight: 120g
Housed within an original 'Printed in England' semi-gloss gatefold cover WITHOUT the Apple logo on the rear panel, which was added to all later pressings.
Complete with both its original 'DRG 9/88' Patents No. inner-sleeves.

All are perfect with no spindle marks or wear to or around any centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine with no noticeable marks or wear in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving desk lamp reveals some harmless wispy hairlines but nothing serious or which affects sound or play. Both discs lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: MINT
Both discs are unplayed.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A strong and clean example with some minor storagewear evident on the front panel, but no significant or major faults throughout. There is minor bruising to the corners but all seams are unstressed & unsplit.
The inside of the gatefold is in perfect condition.
The spine is clean & fully worded.
