This genuine 1st pressing double album dates from initial October 1988 release on the Parlophone label: BPM 1

Being a true 1st pressing, both discs have matt black & silver Parlophone labels with 'Manufactured in the UK..' rims.


Disc 1 matrix numbers: BPM 11 A-1-1-1 & BPM 11 B-1-1-1 ('BTM' corrected on both sides)

Vinyl weight: 114g

Disc 2 matrix numbers: BPM 12 A-1-1-1 & BPM 12-B-1-1-1 ('BTM' corrected on both sides)

Vinyl weight: 128g


Housed within an original 'Printed in England' semi-gloss gatefold cover WITHOUT the Apple logo on the rear panel.

Don't be fooled by into thinking covers which have the Apple logos on the rear panel are 1st pressings, they are not!


CONDITION

All Discs: NEAR MINT

With just a single spindle trail on each label, it seems clear that these discs have only been played once. All playing surfaces are 'as new' in strong daylight with just a few wispy marks from the inner-sleeve directly beneath halogen light. The sound quality throughout is exceptional.

Cover: NEAR MINT

A superb clean & glossy example with just a trace of storagewear on the outer panels and a single light spine bend. All corners are sharp & unbumped and there are no stresses or splits to any seam.
