The Beatles PLEASE PLEASE ME Dick James credits 1ST UK MONO PRESS Gold label GA 1/GA 1

Short-lived first press with black/gold labels, the main pressing with classic Parlophone black & yellow labels was released a couple of months later.
Complete & original heavyweight vinyl black & gold Parlophone label 1st UK pressing of ‘The Beatles - Please Please Me’. This of course has all the usual 1st pressing credit errors of the 1st label black & gold Parlophone label hat incorrectly credited Dick James for the publishing rights on many tracks before the error was spotted and corrected for the 2nd black & gold press. 
On the first sleeves, the "Photo: Angus McBean" credit was printed at the extreme right corner (front bottom right), starting where the "s" of songs end (see pictures). 
On the second issue sleeves, the credit was moved a bit to the left.
Tax Code:  MTZ, Side 2 Matrix / Runout (Side 1 variant): XEX 421-1N G A 1 Matrix / Runout (Side 2 variant): XEX 422-1N G A 1 Serial number: PMC 1202

The sleeve is also a 1st press ‘Gold’ sleeve printed by Earnest J. Day Co. Ltd, can be identified by the"Photo: Angus McBean" credit alignment on the front bottom right corner, which begins where the "s" of songs end. On the second issue sleeves, the credit was moved further to the left aligning with the “g”. 


Condition: 
COVERS: Front and back as you all can see look fab for a 60-year-old album, very well preserved with most of the flaps intact with no split seams or holes of any kind, two right corners have a 1/4 split on them (see pics). The spine is fully readable and looks great! VINYL: Looks excellent plus with all the sheen still intact! Plays dead flat on turntable (see video) LABELS: Side 1 has some wear as you can see on the pics and side 2 looks excellent with almost no spindle marks and visible MTZ tax code. AUDIO: Side 1 plays beautifully, with lots of punch and almost no surface noise, a few ticks and 1 pop with almost no playwear. Side 2 has some little pops on first two tracks and very few ticks along the tracks, almost no surface noise, crackles or hisses and a little playwear but both sides play fantastically well and in no moment any blemish overpowers the music at all, even the gaps between most songs is silent. SLEEVE: Company sleeve looks excellent with no writings, tears or splits of any kind.
This is a great example EXCELLENT MINUS! vinyl. It has a real deep sheen with just a few hairline scratches, 1 scuff and they don't affect the sound at all (see pics). Very nice indeed! There is no warping to the disc. The labels retain a strong gold print colour. And it plays in as good a condition as it looks. Full, punchy 1st press playback without just some tiny pops, ticks, and very little surface noise, obviously no skips or sticks. The cover is also in great condition, glossy clean front without ring wear. The spine is fully-readable, sharp opening edge, mild corner wear at the tips, the back has light signs of handling, no stains, pen or split seams, except for a 1/4 inch split on top right corner and bottom right corner, EXCELLENT! Complete with its original tracing-paper Emitex inner sleeve which is clean without splits, EXCELLENT! This comprises both a fantastic listening & also collectors condition 1st UK mono press of The Beatles debut album from its original release date of March 22nd 1963, with low mother/stampers it was hot off the press from day one!
