Short-lived first press with black/gold labels, the main pressing with classic Parlophone black & yellow labels was released a couple of months later.
Complete & original heavyweight vinyl black & gold Parlophone label 1st UK pressing of ‘The Beatles - Please Please Me’. This of course has all the usual 1st pressing credit errors of the 1st label black & gold Parlophone label hat incorrectly credited Dick James for the publishing rights on many tracks before the error was spotted and corrected for the 2nd black & gold press.
On the very first sleeves, the "Photo: Angus McBean" credit was printed at the extreme right corner (front bottom right), starting where the "s" of songs end (see pictures).
THIS IS THE BEATLES VERY FIRST EVER BEATLES ALBUM RELEASED IN THE WORLD TITLED, " PLEASE PLEASE ME "! IT IS FIRST VERSION MONO ISSUE OF THAT RECORD ON THE BLACK LABEL WITH GOLD PRINT! ISSUED ON THE PARLOPHONE LABEL. (Parlophone PMC-1202.) FEATURES SIX TRACKS CREDITED TO 'DICK JAMES MUSIC' MAKING IT A VERY FIRST ISSUE! IT'S ALSO A FIRST ISSUE COVER AS MANUFACTURED BY THE 'ERNEST J. DAY CO.' FINDING NICE EXAMPLES OF THIS ALBUM IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT! THE LABELS ON THIS RECORD ARE THE BEST I'VE SEEN!
This comprises both a fantastic listening & also collectors condition 1st UK mono press of The Beatles debut album from its original release date of March 22nd 1963, with low mother/stampers it was hot off the press from day one!

Condition:
COVERS: Front and back as you all can see look fab for a 60-year-old album, very well preserved with most of the flaps intact with no split seams, writings or holes of any kind, top and bottom left corners have a 1/8 tiny fracture (see pics). The spine is fully readable and looks great! VINYL: Looks in top shape with all the sheen still intact!. Plays dead flat on turntable (see video) LABELS: Side 1 has very visible MT tax code and is the best I've ever seen, side 2 is in near MINT shape as well (see pics) AUDIO: Excellent, It sounds fantastic and is a solid addition to any collection. The record surface shows some light surface marks and sounds incredible with very little background noise to report including the intros to each side. No significant audible artifacts like loud pops or repeat clicks to report from a full play-grade of both sides. . Both sides play fantastically well, gaps are mostly silent between songs and the feeling is that it was very well taken care of record. SLEEVE: Company sleeve looks excellent with no writings, tears or splits of any kind.
