See my other auctions this week for a whole bunch of rare Beatles records!! Here’s the rarest album I have for sale this week. This is a UK Parlophone export copy of Something New! This is a stereo copy, number CPCS 101. The vinyl still retains most of the original gloss, with light even wear throughout. The biggest flaw I can find is a dot (it’s so tiny, I hesitate to call it a scratch) that causes clicking for a few revolutions at the beginning of side two. I didn’t even see it the first time I looked at the LP! So, I’m grading this copy a strong VG overall. The cover is in similar shape, with corner wear and creasing as commonly found on these thin UK covers. There is a very very tiny set of initials written on the back. I took a picture of it so you can see. There are also spindle marks on the label as well. The original Emitex sleeve is included! The matrix numbers are YEEX 7-B12 on side one, and YEEX 8-B12. The tax code is KT. This is the rare first issue with the error on the label… it says “Sold In U.K.” which, of course, negates the whole point of a UK export pressing! This error was quickly corrected. These export rank among the rarest Beatles records… good luck on this nice album!
