***BID WITH CONFIDENCE: Having been a serious Beatles collector since the 1970s, I strive for accurate grading, detailed item descriptions & photos, careful packaging and fast shipping.

Here’s a unique UK pressing of the Hey Jude LP, intended for export only (no domestic UK release until 1979 on Parlophone).
Bruce Spizer’s 2011 book “Beatles For Sale On Parlophone Records” (p. 338) identifies this version as APPEX 106.SR1A(ii). It’s the second variation of the initial pressing, with the dark green Apple label and the ”PAPER BACK WRITER” (3 words) printing error, but with “REVOLUTION” printed correctly (very first issues have “REVOLUTIONS”).
Visually, the vinyl is a strong VG+, with lots of shine, some scuff marks and a few small, shallow hairline scratches.
The cover is the typical 60s UK construction - flimsy cardboard, laminated with a glossy sheen. So there’s no wear on the cover graphics, but there are a few minor bends on the back cover, which the laminate makes more noticeable they probably would be otherwise. There are no seam splits and no corner dents. Overall, VG+.

Other Info...
* FAST SHIPPING: Domestic shipping via USPS Media Mail (Sorry, I only ship within the lower 48 states). My goal is to ship your item the next USPS business day after I receive your payment, and I’m happy to do combined shipping.
* CAREFUL PACKAGING: I pack every item securely, just the way I’d want to receive it. And I slap a bright orange “FRAGILE” sticker on the package, appealing to USPS not to bend, crush or expose to direct sunlight.
* LPs & 45s are shipped in standard mailers with insert pads; outer corners are reinforced with tape; except for sealed items, discs are removed from cover/sleeve to prevent seam splits; every effort is made to protect the vinyl, the cover and any inserts.
* Please check out my feedback comments - several buyers have specifically commented on how well their records were packaged.
Please contact me if you have any questions about this item. Thanks for looking, and stay safe - Rick in TX
