Original 1965 "Day Tripper / We Can Work It Out" East Coast U.S issue in N/Mint condition. No ring wear. No record impression. No rips, tears, writing, stickers, stamps, stains, sticker residue, or staple holes. No seam splits. Colors and graphics are flawlessly vivid. No signs of yellowing or aging. Truly a trophy piece. Acquired from a friend / L.A. collector, tonight's auctions offers some of the finest quality sleeves I've seen in a while. In fact, one of the sleeves I have listed, 8 DAYS A WEEK, is said to be one of the notorious mid 80's Capitol warehouse finds. After the introduction of and new format of CD's Capitol Records gave up some of its warehouses. In the mid 80's, a contractor purchased one of these warehouses. In some far back room, the contractor found several boxes of Capitol 8 DAYS A WEEK sleeves with no records inside, ready for shipment. These sleeves were not offered to the public, but sold by private auctions. It's like stepping back in time and buying a brand new sleeve. No signs of wear.
