Description

Paul McCartney single "I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!! 1 & G A LABEL Demonstration Not For Sale ORIGINAL from 1978!!!!

Released on the 16th June 1978!!!! This entered the UK charts on the 1st July 1978 where it reached the Number 42 slot and remained in the charts for a total of 7 weeks!!!!

This was the 20th official single release by Paul McCartney!!!!

This single was credited to "Wings" and the line up consisted of Paul, Linda, Denny Laine, Jimmy McCulloch and Joe English!!!!

Like it's Predecessor this track was actually recorded in the Virgin Islands aboard the yacht called "Fair Carol" and featured "Wings" (Mk. V) before Jimmy and Joe left!!!!

The single was released in a terrific Picture Sleeve, and once again with the London Town Labels, but this time the Black and White one is on the A-Side with the colour on the Reverse!!!! Showing the A-Side in my pictures above, if you compare it with "With A Little Luck", you will see a Bus missing from the middle of the Tower Span!!!!!

And Nick was back!!!! On the Run-Out Groove of the A-Side it has "MASTERED AT ABBEY ROAD-NICK, with simply NICK on the B-Side!!!!

The Matrix, Mother and Stampers are:

Side One: 7YCE-21797-1. On the run out grooves there are the numbers 1 and the letters G. There is also etched MASTERED AT ABBEY ROAD-NICK.

Side Two: 7YCE-21798-1. On the run out grooves there are the numbers 1 and the letters G. There is also etched NICK.

The above Codes prove this to be one of the Very First First Pressings cut of this highly sought after single!!!! Only a Handfull of these Demonstration Not For Sale singles were produced and they were given to "Radio Disc Jockeys", "Record Executives" and EMI Employees to help Promote the sales of each Record!!!! These were NOT FOR SALE and should NOT have got through to the General Public!!!!

CONDITION!!!!

The Picture Labels to Both Sides: are in Excellent Condition with No signs of Wear or Marks!!!! The Vinyl still retains that Gloosy Look and has clearly been Very Well looked after which is reflected in the playback!!!! There are a few "Tiny" marks showing on the Vinyl when held up to a bright light (though most of these have been caused by handling)!!!! There are no Pops, Clicks or Jumps anywhere!!!! I play graded this on a Linn LP12 Sondek through a Linn System (which is very unforgiving). The Playback was "Superb"!!!! The record lays perfectly Flat with no Warping!!!!

I would give this Record an overall grade of EXCELLENT!!!!

Please be aware that this Record is for the Label Enthusiast as opposed to the Listening Devotee!!!! These A  Label Demos do NOT surface Often as once they are in a Collectors possession they as a Rule stay!!!!

This Record comes supplied in it's ORIGINAL Picture Sleeve which is in VERY GOOD++/EXCELLENT condition!!!!

I like to point out ALL or any Defects so the buyer knows EXACTLY what they are getting. They may sound a little off putting but I can ASSURE you they are tiny in comparison to the "RARITY" of this item. I am expecting a lot of interest in this simply because it is NOT something you will often see for sale. Look on Ebay or ANY Beatles related websites and you will find these Very Difficult to locate!!!!

Should the winning bidder NOT be happy with the item or my description I will offer a FULL money back gaurantee providing the item reaches me in EXACTLY the same condition it left me in!!!!

I will accept first time bidders as everyone has to start somewhere!!!!

GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!!

I WILL POST WORLWIDE!!!!

NOTICE FOR ALL BIDDERS OUTSIDE OF THE UK!!!! MY POSTAL CHARGES ARE SET AT "INTERNATIONAL TO SIGN FOR" RATES!!!! SHOULD YOU WISH TO USE A CHEAPER METHOD PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR A PRICE BEFORE COMPLETING CHECKOUT!!!! I AM NOT HERE TO MAKE A PROFIT ON THE POSTAGE, I WILL LEAVE THAT TO THE MAIL COMPANIES!!!!
