Description
Offered here is the classic Beatles album MEET THE BEATLES - Capitol T 2047. This variation is the 1966 Jacksonville Capitol Rainbow label in it’s original MONO format. This 1966 pressing was press at The Jacksonville Illinois plant and using L.A. stampers and the labels are Jacksonville in-house labels cause of the font style print, there’s no mistaking it cause only Jacksonville print this font style… Do your research and look for other Capitol mono albums and some stereos with this print style font! The easiest is the BEATLES SECOND ALBUM or BEATLES 65 and BEATLES VI in Stereo, REVOLVER and BEATLES VI being the toughest to find in MONO of course! This MEET THE BEATLES label is far more RARER than its original first pressing with the NO PUBLISHING credits, and has the # 9 on the back cover which is Jacksonville. The lp grades at best VG to maybe VG+ with some hairline scratches, and test played and plays thru, and the labels are M to M- with L.A. stampers markings on the trail off area. The covers grades VG maybe VG+ with signs of wear, big ink marking at the top, corner ding top of the mouth, small cracking at the top seam, and toning due to age plus it comes housed in it’s original Capitol 66 sleeve and the J at the bottom of the sleeve is Jacksonville. A must have rare label variant for this Beatles title and they don’t turn up to often and very uncommon! Will ship between 3 to 5 business days after clear payment.
