Summary:

We are AMAZED by the PRISTINE condition of this COMPLETE and ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE Beatles Original EP ‘MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR’. It was released by EMI/Parlophone UK almost 42 years ago on 13 December 1967 as a Special EP package. The Original First Issue Gatefold Sleeve, incorporating a 24 page booklet, is in DAY OF RELEASE MINT condition, and if that’s not enough, the Two Original First Issue SOLID CENTRE Vinyl EPs are also MINT, and this is the BEST EXAMPLE, by far, that we have offered on ebay.

EP Description and Condition:

Released by EMI/PARLOPHONE UK on 13 December 1967, this FIRST ISSUE MONO Six Track TWO Vinyl EP Set is on the traditional Black & Silver Parlophone Label has 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' label rims, 'Sold in UK….' Label text, and 'Made in Gt. Britain' printed to all four record labels.

The SIX tracks are: Side 1: ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ and ‘Your Mother Should Know’. Side 2: ‘I Am The Walrus’. Side 3: ‘The Fool on The Hill’ and ‘Flying’, and Side 4: ‘Blue Jay Way’.

All four record labels are absolutely STUNNING! Disc 1, Side 1 record label is in DAY OF ISSUE mint condition. Disc 1, side 2 record label is near mint, with only two, hardly visible, centre spider trails. Disc 2, sides 3 and 4 record labels are in NEW mint condition. The Silver printed text on all four record labels is as CLEAR and UNFADED as it was when it was first manufactured !

All four sides of the TWO Vinyl discs are IMPOSSIBLE TO FAULT – the Vinyl Surfaces are in mint condition - they look NEW – just as they would have done when they were first pressed back in 1967. BEAUTIFULLY PRESERVED – you’ll never see one in this condition again for a long long while, and certainly a FINAL UPGRADE!

There is a stamped 'KT' tax/price code visible to the centre of the Record 1 Side 1.

Audio Quality:

Having played both records extremely carefully, there are NO FAULTS of any kind. PLAYS AS WELL NOW AS IT WOULD HAVE DONE WHEN IT WAS PURCHASED, just a STUNNING mono sound quality.

Both Vinyl EPs come in their STUNNING near mint ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE white WAVY TOP paper record bags, UNDAMAGED, NO seam splits and no tearing.

…And are protected in an Original FIRST ISSUE Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse GATEFOLD Sleeve, incorporating a 24 page booklet together with a BLUE Lyric Sheet. Printed to the top of the reverse of the sleeve is 'MONO' together with the catalogue number MMT-1.

The Gatefold sleeve is, without doubt, in DAY OF ISSUE mint condition, it looks NEW - as it would have done when it left the Printers back in 1967. This FIRM, ULTRA GLOSSY sleeve has been so CAREFULLY PRESERVED. There are NO corner bumps, NO record indentation to either the front or reverse panel of the sleeve, NO laminate pinches, NO laminate flaking, and NO creasing. I can go on and on praising this GORGEOUS sleeve, and in all honesty it just cannot be faulted. The spine edge is PERFECT. All the pages within the 24 page booklet within the gatefold sleeve are FLAT and UNDAMAGED, with NO tearing, handwriting or loose pages – and we can confidently state that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to find a better example.

Without hesitation, this, one and only, ORIGINAL Beatles UK double Vinyl EP/Book set is PURE PERFECTION and could not disappoint any serious collector – don’t miss it - if we are excited about it we are confident you will be too – A ONE OFF in this PRISTINE condition!
