1970 Apple Records AR 34001 Stereo Red Apple Label This record is the Rare Early FIRST U.S. Pressing with the Last track on side one, "Maggie Mae”, with credits only shown as "P.D." (Public Domain). (see closeup 3rd pic of label)
( later Second Pressings credit the song to "P.D. arr. Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, Starkey”)
includes “MFD. By Apple" on the red apple side.
Side One Matrix # ( deadwax) reads "JS 17,500-26 #4 Bell Sound SF Phil + Ronnie".
Side Two Matrix # (deadwax) reads "JS - 17,501-24 #4 Bell Sound SF Phil + Ronnie."
The vinyl has “Bell Sound “ / with Sam Feldman’s mastering initials “SF” and "Phil + Ronnie"
(for Phil Spector and his wife Ronnie Spector) etched in the dead Wax.
All of these markings found above serve as proof of authenticity of this TRUE FIRST PRESSING!
