THE BEATLES - 'LOVE ME DO'/'P.S. I LOVE YOU'
This early copy of their debut UK 45 is a 1st pressing dating from initial October 1962 release on the red & silver Parlophone label: 45-R 4949
Both labels carry the 'Ardmore & Beechwood' publishing credit AND the 'Made in Gt. Britain' text.
A 'ZT' purchase tax code is visible in both run-outs only.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stamper codes: 1/P & 1/A
The disc is housed within its original 'beach-striped' Parlophone company cover.
Also included is a MINT original ex-shop stock 1960's record shop paper bag.

Labels: EXCELLENT
A superb clean & unblemished pair free from any writing or sticker marks with just a handful of faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both playing surface are extremely clean retain all of their their original 'as new' deep-gloss shines. Each side displays some harmless light hairlines under halogen light but no major marks or wear. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD
This copy has received a moderate amount of careful play and there is some light background audible throughout. However, the unique & superior 45 version shines through with its rich deep bass and Ringo's drumming which were both missing from the re-recorded album cut.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
Clean & unworn with just a small catalogue number in one corner but no seams splits or tears.
