THE BEATLES: 'LOVE ME DO/PS I LOVE YOU' - R 4949 - THIS IS THE **SUPER RARE** 1964 ORIGINAL UK **3rd PRESSING** BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL UK VINYL 45 - **WITH** 'SOLD IN THE UK' LABEL TEXT
In **STUNNING** condition, we are very pleased to offer collectors an opportunity to purchase this extremely rare 1964 UK **3rd Pressing** BLACK Parlophone Label Vinyl 45 of The Beatles Single 'Love Me Do', **WITH** 'Sold in the UK' label text
This Original UK BLACK LABEL Parlophone Vinyl 45 has 'The Parlophone Co Ltd'.... label rim in upper case, with 'Recording First Published 1962' label text, and 'Sold in UK' and with 'Made in Gt Britain' label text - this version features Ringo on drums, and no tambourine.
The stamped matrix number in the trail out groove on Side 1 is 7XCE 17144-1N and the side 1 stampers are 'MPZT1' 'AD'. The Side 2 Matrix is 7XCE-17145-1N, and the side 2 stampers are 'MPZT1' 'RH'. The embossed 'KT' tax code is visible on the side 1 record centre. This RARE Black Label 45 comes in its original Type 1 Green Parlophone Bag.
Now turning to the grading of this SIGNIFICANT Rarity. Just look at the detailed scans provided, both sides of the Record Labels are in STUNNING **close to mint** condition - There is NO fading, NO deterioration, NO scuffing of any kind to either side of the record labels. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in AWESOME **close to mint** Condition - the Vinyl is GLEAMING, with that just pressed look, and the playing quality is also SUPERB. Both sides of the 45 play without any skips, jumps or distortion. The Original Type 1 Parlophone Company sleeve is graded in FABULOUS mint minus condition - the sleeve is CRISP and BRIGHT, and free from any tearing, seam splitting or hand writing!
