You are bidding on this LP by The Beatles "Long Tall Sally" On Capitol records T-6063 from 1964 with shrink wrap.
A superb original first pressing copy of this Canadian LP on the Rainbow Capitol 6000 series. This is the Canadian equivalent to the "The Beatles Second Album".
In a rush to meet the public sales demand for this lp, Capitol Records pasted a limited alternate stereo front cover slick for this mono release. I can only presume that Capitol Records had temporarily run out of the first mono front cover slicks. The record number is printed as T 6063 instead of ST 6063 on the top right front cover edge (see scan). This production run was a temporary solution that was very limited.
Very few copies of these alternate covers exist today. This first original pressing features the word [Canada] boxed in brackets at the bottom perimeter of the label and the first issued Capitol red and white inner sleeve. The front cover is printed as "Litho in Canada" with the letter P boxed in.
The cover itself is in beautiful condition with it's original bright full high gloss front white paper finish instead of the subsequent semi gloss finish.
All corners & seams and spine are tight & crisp and the opening edge of the cover is like new. The only fault I can find is faint original normal aging of the front and rear outside cover edges.
The vinyl retains all it's original gloss except for 2 or 3 fine needle marks and features clean labels. What makes this Canadian pressing extremely desireable also is the 12 tracks - of which some differ than the American release.
