Description
Time for this long-time Beatles collector to clean house! As a fellow collector, I try to provide as much information as possible to describe my records for sale. This is the original 1970 pressing. I am the one and only owner, purchased it new back in 1970, and maintained it with the rest of my collection since.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good condition, with minor wear. Spine is intact, and there is no seam split at the opening. The record labels are clean, no stickers, writing, etc. The "apple" on side one is red. The words "Phil + Ronnie" and "Bell Sound" are in the runout groove, along with the initials "SF" ( for Sam Feldman, a Bell technician involved in the album). There is also a "Winchester" logo in the runout groove, and the identifier codes," JS-17,500" on the A-side, "JS-17,501" on the B-side. Also of note - the songwriting credit for "Maggie Mae" is listed as "P.D" (Public domain). Later pressings apparently also gave credits to the Beatles.
Please refer to photos for details on condition.
I'd rate the record itself as around a VG+. due to a couple of very minor marks. The record was only removed from the sleeve for play, and replaced immediately after. It has been stored in my smoke-free home without being played for many years.
Thanks for looking!
