Description

In this auction is 1 original Beatles Picture Sleeve with 1 original Beatles Capitol (orange-yellow swirl label) 45 RPM record and 1 Fan Club Flyer.


Here are the details:


  • “LADY MADONNA” b/w “THE INNER LIGHT” by The Beatles

  • This is a 7-INCH RECORD issued by CAPITOL RECORDS.

  • This is Capitol Records 2138.

  • It was released March, 1968. Running times are printed on the labels.

  • The PICTURE SLEEVE is in NICE VG+ CONDITION with just several what look like fingernail impressions in the center of the A-side of the sleeve, but there are NO punctures. There are NO seam splits, NO writing, and NO ring wear on this sleeve, but there is a tiny 1/8 inch tear on the Aside of the sleeve at the top opening. Which would probably lower the grade a bit. The B-side of the sleeve is nice and clean. It is mostly a flat sleeve.

  • As you probably know, THIS IS A VERY TOUGH SLEEVE TO FIND WITHOUT ANY RING WEAR ON THE PURPLE AREAS OF THE SLEEVE. (Check out the images!!) As you can see, there is NO RING WEAR.

  • This is a Straight-Cut EAST COAST Picture Sleeve.

  • The VINYL has the “?” (triangle) in the trail-off wax. This is the symbol Capitol Records used to identify vinyl pressed at its Scranton Pressing Plant. THEREFORE, this EAST COAST VINYL IS PROPERLY PAIRED WITH THIS EAST COAST PICTURE SLEEVE.

  • The VINYL is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION with just a few very light/slight surface hairlines or scuffs (none “feelable”).

  • And this record and sleeve comes with the RARE ORIGINAL FAN CLUB FLYER that was ONLY inserted into SOME copies of the “Lady Madonna”/”Inner Light” Picture Sleeve with the Record. The FLYER is in NEAR MINT CONDITION!!

    It’s a NICE COPY of this BEATLES PICTURE SLEEVE & RECORD COMPLETE with the RARE FAN CLUB FLYER to add to your BEATLES’ VINYL COLLECTION!!
