Description
THE BEATLES - 'LADY MADONNA'/'THE INNER LIGHT'
This superb 1st pressing dates from initial February 1968 release and is on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5675
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text & have 'The Gramophone Co...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the 'Lady Madonna' label.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18438-3 & 7XCE 18439-2
Stamper codes: 1/AG & 3/MM
The disc is housed within a colour EMI advertising sleeve, complete with an unused Fan Club application order form.

A superb, clean & unworn set with just four faint, well-aimed spindle trails around the side 1 centre hole only.
Visual: EXCELLENT +Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which bear just a few barely visible wispy sleeve removal marks but no scuff or any scratches - even when viewed directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: MINT
This flawless sounding copy which will not require upgrading. Both sides play cleanly & clearly with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion or indeed any other audible faults.
Insert: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with an undamaged perforation with minor upper edge age-toning & a few tiny foxing spots, but no writing or missing paper.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Minor storagewear & toning but no writing, tears or seam splits.
