READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP Welcome 1985 Original “Beatles at the Beeb” Radio Show 3 Picture Discs, NM!

Not widely known boxed set of 3 picture discs out of England, this is the legitimate pressing radio show that resurfaced as the new and improved London Wavelength set of the same recorded material.  500 copies only.  No track sheets included, and they may not have originally had them to begin with.  This is the only set I’ve ever seen.

Vinyl--- NM, all 6 sides!  The picture discs play silky-quiet for picture discs.  The vinyl quality is exquisite, as well as the sound quality throughout.  As these LP’s have been in storage, they may need a cleaning or moisturizing if they play with any surface noise.  A beautiful set, indeed!

Plates--- SS-26-A through SS-26-F.

Box--- Excellent.  All corners are fully intact.  British construction has the entire box reinforced with cloth, keeping it strong and muscular.  The only issue is that there is some foxing inside.

Breathe Holes--- N/A.

Labels--- N/A also.

Inner Sleeve--- Inner sleeves are heavy plastic.  Some collectors may prefer to replace them with paper sleeves.  One sleeve has a split about 2 ½ inches.

RIAA: N/A as well, too.

Think your Beatles collector has everything?  It is seriously in doubt that they have one of these.  They’re hard enough to find in England.  They’re impossible to find stateside.  This Christmas gift under the tree will make your collector’s teeth fly out and bite the dog, so stand back.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
