READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning. I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.
So with that said…
Beatles LP SEALED George Harrison Extra Texture 1975 Apple Die-Cut NM!
Any collector can attest that any time you find this album in a used record store, there will always be at least one of the album’s title letters bent over and creased white. Usually, it’s most of them.
The only way you will ever find a copy with pristinely preserved lettering from the die-cut cover is if you find one that’s still sealed. And good luck with that!
Vinyl--- NM SEALED.
Plates--- NM SEALED.
Cover--- NM SEALED. There is a very small, discreet saw mark in the top left edge that was so small that I didn’t notice it when I bought it. See Photos.
Breathe Holes--- There are two breathe holes on the front cover at the bottom, one under the first letter “T,” the other under the symbol to the right.
There are two breathe holes on the back cover near the bottom. One is over the word, “Studios” beneath the “World of Stone” title. The other is due east of that.
Labels--- NM SEALED.
Apple Glossy Cardboard Inner Sleeve --- NM SEALED.
Being depressed brings out the best in a Beatle. I know it’s not a crowd-pleaser, but I’ve always loved this record.
CAUTION! There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids. A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.
Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!
(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
