Description
A very good example of the original UK album bought in 1963. This is the original mono version with yellow and black Parlophone label.
Disc condition is EXcellent, it honestly looks as it did on the day it was bought. Vinyl is clean and shiny with only very few light surface marks which in no way affect play. Has been auditioned on a hi-fi Pro-ject audio turntable, and sounds fantastic. Very slightest of spindle marks on label.
Matrix markings on side one are XEX 421-1N at 6 o clock, 17 at 3 o clock, GAP at 9 o clock.
Matrix markings on side two are XEX 422-1N at 6 o clock, 45 at 3 o clock, GRH at 9 o clock.
Sleeve is very good, with just some slight wear to the open edge. Has original Emitex inner sleeve, Ernest J Day & Co tri-flap, Angus McBean photo credit at bottom right of sleeve front. Some writing on back of sleeve, previous owner has made a note on the back in pencil that the front sleeve shows Ringo, Paul, George and John (!) Pencil looks like it would come off with an eraser but no attempt has been made to do this. Also writing in blue biro on top back of sleeve but it identifies its purchase date as Oct 17 1963 as a birthday present.
