The Beatles – Please Please Me – Genuine 1963 1st issue UK mono pressing (1st mother) on the Black & Gold Parlophone Label, Dick James label credits, and early MZT tax code; catalogue number PMC 1202.
20th century collectables is pleased to offer for sale this superb 1963 1st issue black gold Please Please Me with stunning MINT- audio and a set of beautiful MINT- Black Gold labels. The vinyl comes in its original and highly respectable EXCELLENT- cover.

Audio: MINT-
A fabulous sounding copy with all the richness and subtleties of a UK black gold pressing. The music signals are totally unworn and undamaged with absolutely no groovewear to any of the tracks. There is some very minor surface noise audible between some tracks when played at high volume but nothing much to fault this superb audio copy which still retains all the audio detail and freshness of the original recording.
Labels: MINT-
A truly superb set of labels which still retain their original shop freshness. Both labels carry the early Dick James music credits. Side 2 Carries the very early MZT tax code.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
The record has a number of non sounding light scuffs and surface marks but due to the quality and thickness of the vinyl they do not effect play.
Cover
EXCELLENT -
The vinyl comes in its original extra heavy duty 1963 Ernest J. Day sleeve. The front panel has retained its high gloss laminate and has no thumbnail creases and only moderate signs of wear. The rear panel is free from any writing. A highly respectable example of this 48 year old cover and so hard to find in this condition.
Inner-sleeve EXCELLENT +
Clean & correct with just a touch of light storage/handling creasing.
