Beatles LP Beatles VI 1965 MONO First Pressing In Shrink w/Original Price Tag
Vinyl--- Very nice-looking vinyl, both sides. Various soft marks, but still retains a good 80% of its original 1965 shine. Not NM, but a good-looking piece of vinyl!
Plates--- G16/ G14. Los Angeles pressing with the machine-stamped asterisk in the trail-off, both sides.
Cover--- VG++/NM. Shrink has dulled a little bit over 57 years, but it did its job admirably, protecting the cover. A little yellowing at the top and down the mouth opening. Otherwise white and new-looking. STRONG seams and spine, NO splits!
The back cover contains the first-day issue disclaimer, which was deleted off of subsequent pressings, “See label for correct playing order” just above the song listings.
The shrink wrap has two breathe holes on the front cover.
Labels--- Each has light spindle marks that can only be seen if tilted toward a light source. Otherwise bold, crisp colors, NM. “Words of Love” is published by ASCAP. Later labels from 1968 and onward changed it to BMI.
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Olive green inner sleeve, really good shape. All three seams have minor splits about one inch or less.

(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
