Description

Sold as seen -  on the basis that there are factory flaws within the vinyl that amount to imperfections that are visible - more of which I will detail below.

Copy of  The Beatle's  LP release of "Abbey Road".

This is an Australian manufactured item and is presented in a pink coloured vinyl.

The album is presented on the EMI Australia - Apple  Recording label - Catalogue number is PCSO - 7088. There are no matrix numbers on the play off sections on either side as this was a limited edition version of the album.

 About the album:

The Outer Sleeve:

Remains in its original factory issue format with no writing rips or tears, bearing only the most minimal signs of ageing (please see photo's) the corners, sides and spine are all very well preserved for its age .It is in very good + order.

The Inner Sleeve:

Is the factory pressed paper based  insert in  white and is in very good + order.

 The Vinyl:

Presents on both sides with a very good  glossy sheene.

Side One:

A close visual examination under bright lighting conditions reveals one or two very light visible hairline surface marks - most noteworthy on track 2, additionally there are pock marks that I believe are factory based flaws that again are visible - please see photo's. These marks do impact upon the audio reproduction from the vinyl - in the form of  "Pips" as the stylus travels across the marks, they are present on tracks 3 an 6. Also you are able to see further factory flaws on side one - this time small black surface blemishes , thankfully, these do not impact upon the audio quality, importantly, I have played this side and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of very good  quality with the exception of the pips that appear randomly, kindly note though this can very from one turntable to another depending upon stylus quality and condition.

Side Two:

Similarly, a close visual examination under bright lighting conditions of side two reveals a visible surface scratch across tracks three to six,  there is also a further pock mark on this side - track 6, it is visible next to a factory flaw as with side one in the form of black blemishes - please see photo's.again, I have played  side two and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of  very good  quality, there is however, a minor skip on track one and again "pips" occur on other tracks as the songs progress. Kindly note though this can very from one turntable to another depending upon stylus quality and condition.

The record runs marginally out of true on the turntable on side two, again this does not impact upon audio quality.

The record labels are in very good order.

I have played this album many times and can live quite easily with the audio quality arising from the defects I have detailed - priced to sell and certainly a good collection filler.

Kindly note, in order to secure a safe delivery, I require a signature against postal receipt(tracked) at a minimal cost as detailed below .Thankyou.
