CONDITION
Disc
Visual: Side 1: EXCELLENT Side 2: nr MINT
Side one is in excellent condition with no heavy marks or scratches only some light non feelable handling marks but nothing offensive. Side two is unmarked, even under a halogen desklight nothing is revealed other than some whispy sleeve removal marks. The disc lies 100% flat on the turntable.
Labels: Side 1: nr MINT Side 2: EXCELLENT+
A great set of the very earliest chunky type face labels, positively establishing the record as a true UK 1st pressing. Side one is in remarkable near MINT condition with only 2 or 3 very light spindle trails. Side two is in similar condition and grades at exc+. The KT tax code is visible on side 2.
Audio: nr MINT
An outstanding audiophile copy with absolutely no loss of audio quality whatsoever. Just a hint of static in some gaps but very close to an all out MINT grade. Tracks such as ‘If I Fell’, ‘And I Love Her’ and ‘Things We Said’ have a sonic presence only achievable with analogue. The audio will not disappoint. Needless to say the record does not jump or stick.
Cover
EXCELLENT+
An original 1964 Garrod & Lofthouse patents pending cover in superb condition. Very little to fault; there is some light signs of handling and storage wear to the front panel and the top right corner has a light laminate crease and shows evidence of wear but overall the front is impressive and retains its high gloss sheen. The rear panel is both unmarked and unsoiled with no tape marks or writing. The spine is uncrushed with the text clearly visible. All flipbacks are intact. Now very tough to find in this condition.
Inner-sleeve Excellent +
Original 1964 inner.
