READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles LP 1971 Meet the Beatles UNDOCUMENTED Apple Variation, EX Vinyl!

Many collectors consider this variation to be an error pressing.  However; I have verified that most of the catalogue has been pressed this way, and that they’re all from the Winchester, VA plant.

These copies don’t have the “Mfd. By Apple Records, Inc.” disclaimer on the Side 1 OR the Side 2 labels! 

Try and complete the run.

Vinyl--- EX/EX.  95% original shine.  One or two very light lines per side.  Side 2 has a white groove at the beginning of “I Wanna Be Your Man.”

Plates--- H14/R17.  Hand-etched Delta symbol (or rifle) in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Winchester.

Cover--- VG.  Front cover has light to moderate ringwear.  Side 2 has moderate to heavy dirtwear.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

Labels--- EX/EX.  Almost NM labels, just a stray spindle mark or two.

Capitol Inner Sleeve--- EX.  Generic white inner sleeve with die-cut hole for the labels to show.  NO SPLIT SEAMS.

A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Capitol inner sleeve en route.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
