IMPRESSIVE examples of The Beatles FIRST 1962 UK Single, are FEW and FAR between now. Most were played to death at parties and never survived and the majority that we see are in NOWHERE NEAR THE CONDITION OF THIS ONE – the labels are EXCEPTIONAL!

Released by Parlophone, UK on 5 October 1962 - over 47 years ago - this FIRST ISSUE VINYL 45 is on the DISTINCTIVE RED Parlophone Label with Silver Printed text, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd....’ label rim, With ‘Recording First Published 1962’, With ‘Ardmore & Beechwood Ltd’ publishing credits. This version is **WITH** ‘Made In Gt. Britain’ label text printed to both sides of the record labels.
Side 1 matrix: 7XCE 17144-1N and Side 2: 7XCE-17145-1N.
Side 1 stampers: ZT1/G and Side 2: ZT1/M.
The Vinyl 45 comes in its ORIGINAL and VERY NICELY PRESERVED Parlophone Multi-coloured Company Bag.
Condition:
Both sides of the Record Labels are in BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN near mint condition. this is one of the FINEST set of UNDAMAGED record labels that we have seen for a ‘Love Me Do’ in a long while - Both sides are STUNNING - free from any unwanted handwriting to either side. There is NO fading to the RICH, VIVID Red background and NO fading to the CLEAR Silver Printed Text, and no more than a few, barely visible, spider trails - and you have to tilt the record around in the light to be aware of these.
Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in VERY NICE excellent condition showing nothing more than some light, non sounding, surface scratches, but certainly NO deep scuffs or deep scratches.
The Original Parlophone Multi-coloured Paper Bag is a RESPECTABLE example, free from handwriting and seam splits.
Play Quality:
Both sides of the disc play well , with only some mild background crackle to both tracks, and NO skips or clicks.
A VERY RESPECTABLE example of The Beatles DEBUT Single from 1962.
