The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. I'm going to start listing this collection slowly, probably listing only one or two items a week in the beginning, on Wednesday nights, gradually increasing the items listed over time. I'm going to list five items this week just to give everyone an idea of the kinds of things I have in this collection. John Lennon-Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs "Imagine" test pressing, MFSL-1-277, pressed on red vinyl. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM condition; this appears unplayed. This comes in a plain white sleeve, with the date of December 23, 2003 and the catalog number on it. This was pressed a couple of months in advance of the official release. Very rare piece of Lennon vinyl, in like new shape.
