Some of my PHOTOS suffer from LOW LIGHT lighting conditions (due to very cloudy / rainy days recently).
This causes unavoidable grain and spottiness in image, particularly on dark covers / labels and especially the vinyl.
I apologize for that and assure all bidders that such grain/spots are Digital Artifacts only - are not actually present
on these LP Covers / labels / vinyl themselves at all  - and DO NOT properly represent the true condition.
My camera simply is not able to resolve fine detail in low light ...especially on the vinyl grooves.

In any such case, please always refer to the written grade and description for accurate condition details.
*some of the vinyl is appearing like unearthed ancient archeological artifacts or mars-scapes (!)
If this could have been at all avoided it would have been. ...hopefully new camera soon!

The Lost Lennon Years was hosted by Elliot Mintz; a Los Angeles disc jockey in the 1970s, he became a personal assistant and spokesman for Yoko Ono.  Looking at the time The Lost Lennon Tapes first aired, Albert Goldman’s The Lives of John Lennon had just been published, which painted John in a vastly negative light.  Projects like The Lost Lennon Tapes or the Imagine: John Lennon film documentary were likely produced, at least in part, as a helpful corrective to Goldman’s biography.

In each hour-long episode, Mintz presents themed biographical information about Lennon and/or the Beatles, plays some of the official discography (at least through the late-80s) of both Lennon and the Beatles, and then dips into things like Lennon’s demo tapes or session outtakes, Lennon’s interviews or appearances on television or radio, or new interviews with people that Lennon loved or worked with.

You might expect Mintz to show a bias toward the Lennon mythology that Yoko Ono has spent the past thirty+ years promoting - or to expect Mintz to take potshots at Paul McCartney - or paint certain events surrounding the Beatles’ final years in a negative and sensationalistic light.  Surprisingly, Mintz is more even-handed; the show has even featured interviews with May Pang, John’s girlfriend and lover during the “Lost Weekend” - when other projects, like Imagine: John Lennon, have tried to pretend that she never existed. The program is very thorough, in-depth and fleshed-out, so that someone coming to this series in the late-1980s would have gotten quite a bit out of each episode.

This Hour-Long episode concerns John's Spiritual development during the Dakota (his home in NYC) years and see's him working towards a zen awakening both in his personal life and his music. The program includes several unreleased demo's, studio rehearsals and rough mixes not heard before, along with the fascinating close-up look at John Lennon, the human being.

There are 4 commercial breaks between segments, for Nationally advertised products.
