MINT/UNPLAYED, SPECIAL 12” VINYL EDITION, IN RE-DESIGNED GATEFOLD SLEEVE
This SCARCE UK release of John Lennon’s ICONIC album ‘IMAGINE’ was re- released by Apple/EMI UK on 3rd April 2000. Digitally Remastered and Remixed on HEAVYWEIGHT Vinyl, giving a Superb Sound Quality Recording, the album comes in its official printed inner sleeve, which has been re-created in card in the same format as the Original 1971 issue.
The machine stamped information in the trail out groove is: Side 1: 5248581 A-5-1-1 and Side 2: 5248581 B-5-1-1.
The LP is housed in a very IMPRESSIVE Newly Designed outer GATEFOLD sleeve, featuring a selection of never before (at the time) published colour and black & white John Lennon photographs within the gatefold. The front of the Gatefold Sleeve features the traditional ‘Imagine’ artwork, with an official black circular sticker adhered to the top left hand corner reading ‘Imagine, John Lennon. Digitally Remastered & Remixed’, there is a small whit sticker on the reverse of the gatefold sleeve at the top right corner that reads, Promotional copy not for sale.
The Vinyl LP is in mint condition, the Vinyl disc is UNPLAYED. The printed inner sleeve and outer Gatefold Sleeve are both in Mint condition
Missed by many collectors at the time due to its BRIEF release. This Promotional example is in top condition.
