"IMAGINE" b/w "IT'S SO HARD"
7" single...pressed in Australia...on Apple (distributed by E.M.I. [Australia] Ltd. here...catalogue number: A-9708)...Second pressing...
This 45 was pressed with at least THREE different label variations! This is LABEL VARIATION #2.
LABEL VARIATION #1: ...all label text is in upright/NON-italic text...On the 'B' side, in the production credits, there is just normal spacing between the words 'Phil' and 'Spector'...with 'Phil' being partly illegible due to its positioning over the dark base of the apple-core. Has 'A E.M.I. Recording' at the bottom instead on 'An E.M.I. Recording', as per all other Apple releases.
LABEL VARIATION #2: ...all label text is in upright/NON-italic text...On the 'B' side, in the production credits, there is now a wide space between the words 'Phil' and 'Spector'...with 'Phil' now being legible there. Has 'A E.M.I. Recording' at the bottom instead on 'An E.M.I. Recording', as per all other Apple releases. LABEL VARIATION #3: ...this is a 1972/73 version, and all credits (with the sole exception of the song titles) are in a completely different font to the above variations. There are many type-setting spacing differences in the credits. Never in pic sleeve here...comes in its original (correct-design for 1971) Aussie Apple company sleeve. Most notable is that 'An EMI Recording' (note: no full stops in 'EMI') has been placed to the left of the centre-hole....(released here 11th November 1971)...

VINYL: ( VG ) ...has light scuffs/marks (nothing heavy at all...although there's a larger one, but it has no further effect on play)...plays with some crackling...
