THE BEATLES - 'IF I FELL'/'TELL ME WHY'

1964 UK PARLOPHONE *EXPORT* 45

**NEAR MINT + 'SOLD IN UK..' TEXT**

Initially pressed only for export only, copies were soon on sale in UK stores.
In order to legitamize domestic sale, EMI added the then standard 'Sold in UK..' text to the labels.
Copies with this text are genrally harder to find than those without.

This rare NEAR MINT 1964 domestic pressing is on the UK black & silver Parlophone label: DP 562
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co. Ltd.' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code appears on the 'Tell Me Why' label.

Housed in its original green & white Parlophone company bag.

Matrix numbers: 7XCE 17756-1 & 7XCE 17757-1
Stamper numbers: 2/O & 2/M

No spindle marks.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine surfaces with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly under a halogen desk lamp.
100% flat on both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.

Audio: NEAR MINT

Possibly unplayed, this is an outstanding sounding copy with no audible wear.
