Description
THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
In October 1969 EMI introduced this new '1-EMI-box' design label to replace the yellow & black design which had been employed since April 1963. Most utilized the same matrices with the original 'tube-cut' mixes/masters as the 1st pressing and are their equal in sound quality.
This MINT/UNPLAYED stereo pressing dates from October 1969 and is on the '1-EMI Box' EMI/Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels carry the 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd..' & 'Made In Gt. Britain' rim texts.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1 (the same as the 1965 1st pressing)
Stamper codes: 3/PO & 3/PT
Vinyl weight: 144g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover without a stereo front indicator.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
