1968 UK *SOLID CENTRE* 45
This is the second of two rare variants of this 45 which I have for auction this week.
This copy is a solid centred second pressing from 1968 on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5305
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' statement and have 'Parlophone Co...' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in both run-outs only.
It is housed in its original green 'swirl' Parlophone company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18280-2 & 7XCE 18281-2
Stamper codes: 10/PMT & 3/DRG

A superb set with no discernable spindle marks to either centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are pristine & unmarked in strong daylight and display just a few insignificant wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Play: NEAR MINT
Both sides of this copy have been barely, if ever played and consequently sound 'as new' with no traces of any audible faults or wear whatsoever.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
Clean with some storagewear wrinkling but no major faults. Easily replaced.
