1965 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
**NEAR MINT**
This outstandinge 1965 UK 1st STEREO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co..' rims.
The asterisk on the label beside 'I Need You' appears after title. On 2nd pressings it appears before.
The rarer 'MT' tax/price code is visible on the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed outined stereo cover.
Complete with its original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Stamper numbers: 4/ML & 3/MT
Disc weight: 145g

Both surfaces are in perfect pristine 'AS NEW/MINT' condition when viewed in strong daylight.
Close and careful inspection directly under a hlogen desk lamp reveals only a few barely visible inner-sleeve removal/paper hairlines.
There is not a single scuff, surface mark, scratch or any other trace of visible wear anywhere on this outstanding copy.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This copy has received just one or two extremely careful plays by its original audiophile owner on a Garrard 401 deck fitted with a Shure M75E cartridge on an SME arm.
The sound throughout is 'as new' with no traces of groovewear, background noise or indeed any audible faults whatsoever - even on 'Yesterday'.
Both run-ins and all bands play silently and there are no clicks, pops or any other evidence of wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT PLUS
A pristine clean and white example with an undamaged, high-gloss front laminate which bears no creasing or even any 'thumbnails' anywhere.
Apart from a touch of shelfwear to the lower corners, all are sharp clean and both opening edges appear untouched and are in perfect condition.
The rear panel is perfectly clean & white with no handling wear, marks, writing or missing paper.
The spine has a hint of toning but all flipbacks & both seams are intact and completely undamaged.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Crisp & flat with just minor storagewear but no splits, tears or writing.
