The Beatles - Songs from the film "Help!"
This exceptional copy of the Beatles' fifth studio album is a UK stereo 1st press on the much sought after yellow and black Parlophone label.
The matrix numbers confirm that the record is a first press. The mother & stamper codes communicate that the vinyl was produced early in the production cycle. Consequently the audio reproduction is superb! Take a listen yourself below.
The labels are the first variant evident by the large STEREO text printed above the 'Sold in U.K. ..' statement. This set is particularly rare as the text is printed in Sans Serif font. The vast majority of first variant labels were printed in the Times New Roman font. Which came first is anyones guess!
The vinyl is housed within the original front side laminated Garrod & Lofthouse flip-back sleeve with mid-sized, outline 'STEREO' text to the top right hand corner of the front side.
The album is complete with the original polythene lined die-cut Emitex 'protect your records' inner sleeve.

The labels are bright, clean and without writing. Only one or two spindle marks are visible to either side.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
The vinyl exhibits immaculate 'factory-fresh' deep-gloss playing surfaces. Side 1 is blemish free. Side 2 has two stylus skate marks that are not feel-able. Under the glare of a halogen bulb a handful of wispy hairlines can be seen alongside an iridescent rainbow shine. A really strong example.

As can be heard from the recordings, the vinyl has not seen much use. There is no sign of groove/play wear. The lead-ins are quiet. It is quiet between tracks. There is superb clarity and distinction. There is great channel separation. You will struggle to find a better listening experience - a true final upgrade.
I understand several of you are having trouble listening to the audio clips. I have therefore uploaded the relevant recordings to a SoundCloud account: Triumphant59. The sleeve looks fantastic. The front is retains the original lustre and the cover art maintains bright colours. The rear is very clean. There is no ring wear. The spine is without wear. The top and bottom edge are without wear. The bottom corners show storage wear - one has a bump the other is rounded. The top two corners are crisp.
Inner Sleeve: EXCELLENT +
The original inner sleeve looks great. It is very clean, has minimal discolouration and shows only minor creasing. The vinyl is housed within an audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic record.
