Description
Original UK Yellow & Black Parlophone label with the 'Gamophone Co' & 'Sold in the UK' text, mono press LP! The Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light discolouration on the rear cover & a small split on the top edge of the front cover. The spine is still intact and fully readable, the Emitex company inner is intact & in VG+ condition. The record is in visually VG+ condition, with a couple faint & wispy sleeve removal hairlines & one or two needle marks visible under bright light. The labels are in VG+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of spindle markings. Overall the record still retains all its original sheen and looks great!! The sound reproduction is VG+, still clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some brief background noise during the run in grooves and in a couple of the quieter passages, overall still a really great listen!! The matrix nos. are; YEX-549-2 mother stamper 4-GDP, YEX-550-2 mother stamper 3-GGD. This is one of the very early 1st pressings of the original 1965 UK mono 1st issue of this album!! All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, but everyones ears and decks are different, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund on return of the record, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!!
