Description
THE BEATLES - 'HELP!'
This pristine and rare German EXPORT pressing of 'HELP!' was purchased in 1967 from a U.S. Army base in Germany.
It is on the white, red & gold Odeon label with the catalogue number: SMO 74 008
Matrix numbers: SHZE 162 A-1 & SHZE 162 B-1X
Disc weight: 158g
Housed in a fully laminated 'green-dome' German printed cover which bears a different catalogue number to the disc: SMO 84 008.
Complete with its original black & white Odeon advertising inner-sleeve.

Labels: 1. MINT 2. EXCELLENT
Pristine white & unworn labels with just two or three tiny spindle marks. The side 2 label would be MINT if it were not for a name written on it.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surface which are 100% 'as new' in strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines visible upon close and careful examination beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this immaculate disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: MINT
This copy has received just one or two careful plays and my careful play-check at volume confirms the sound throughout as flawless.
Cover: NEAR MINT
An outstanding clean, and more importantly, white example which has been carefully stored in a non-smoking environment and been barely touch for the past 44 years. The front panel retains all of its high-gloss laminate and is free from any 'thumbnails' or any other creasing or wear. Each corner is clean & undamaged and both opening edges have no tears or feathering to either side. The rear panel is just as clean and unblemished as the front. Both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed & completely unworn.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD +
Fully intact but with a little storage creasing and a name written on one side.
