THE BEATLES - 'HELLO, GOODBYE'/'I AM THE WALRUS'
This pristine UK 1st pressing dates from initial November 1967 release on the black & silver Parlophone label: R 5655
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text with 'The Gramophone Co..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the 'Hello, Goodbye' label.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18433-1 & 7XCE 18434-1
Stamper codes: 1/R & 1/R
Housed within its original EMI colour advertising cover together with a genuine & original 1960's ex-record shop stock paper bag.

An immaculate set with just a single spindle mark around the 'I Am the Walrus' centre hole from stacking in the factory.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' & unmarked in strong daylight, showing just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: MINT
This disc shows no signs of ever having been played and my single play-check confirmed the sound on both sides to be flawless & wonderful throughout.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with light wrinkles but no writing, tear or seam splits.
