1964 UK 1st *MONO* PRESSING LP
Black & yellow Parlophone label - PMC 1240
Both labels include initial 'chubby' style font' with 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
An 'MT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in the rarer front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' mid-sized mono cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

Totally pristine & totally unmaked surfaces in daylight which bear no scuffs, marks or scratches whatsoever. Apart from some wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines directly under halogen light, this copy displays no signs of visible wear whatsoever.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This superb copy has clearly just a few careful plays and sounds clear and clean throughout without any significant or major audible faults.
Cover
EXCELLENT +
An outstanding example of this rare sleeve with a pristine, high-gloss front laminate which bears just a few minor edge wrinkles but no 'thumbnail' creases or any other signs of wear. The corners are all in excellent shape and both opening edges are clean, sharp and undamaged. The rear panel is clean and white with no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are in perfect condition and the spine & seams are all undamaged. Hard to find better.
