CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT

Both are clean & bright with less than a handful of spindle marks around each slightly worn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Clean, bright & deep-gloss playing surfaces which display just three light small & light fingernail scuff lines on side 1 in strong daylight but certainly no scratches or any other blemishes. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than some harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal hairlines. Both sides of this quality, heavy copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: EXCELLENT

This fine sounding copy has received a minimal amount of play and my careful play-check at volume found no significant deterioration to the sound overall. All of the quieter tracks played clearly and without interference and the whole album is without any clicks, pops or any other such distraction. I did detect a little background between tracks and a hint of play wear on 'I'll Be Back', but apart from that there is little else to fault on this extremely enjoyable listening copy.

Cover

EXCELLENT -

A strong and bright example with a clean & glossy front panel laminate which displays a few light edge wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' towards the opening edge. There is some minor shelfwear rubbing to the lower corners and some wear to the rear opening edge, but no tears or major damage anywhere. The rear panel is white with a long crease to the left of the side 1 track-listing but no marks, writing or missing paper. There is a little shelfwear to the lower edge but all seams & the fully worded spine are unstressed and unsplit.

Inner-sleeve

VERY GOOD +

Clean & crisp with a touching written dedication dated '16th Sept 1964' in the upper right corner on both sides.
