THE BEATLES - 'Extracts From The Film A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'

UK 1964 1st PRESS EP

This barely played 1964 UK 1st pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8920

Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.

Matrix numbers: 7TCE 832-1N & 7TCE 833-2N

Stamper codes: 4/GH & 2/RG

Housed in a front laminated, rounded bi-flipback 'E. J. D' (Ernest J. Day) printed picture cover.

CONDITION

Labels: NEAR MINT

A pristine pair with no spindle marks or wear to either centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Both playing surfaces retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines and display no significant marks or wear when viewed in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath halogen light reveals just some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with sleeve removal but no other blemishes or wear.

Play: EXCELLENT +

This superb copy has been barely, if ever played. All tracks play clearly & cleanly with no audible distractions or wear on or between any track.

Cover

EXCELLENT -

This scarce cover variant is in fine shape with a clean & glossy front panel bearing just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle. There is some minor age-discolouration to the rear panel and a small stain towards the lower right corner, but no writing or missing paper.
