HE BEATLES - 'Extracts From The Film A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'
UK 1964 *1st PRESS* EP
This barely played 1964 UK 1st pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8891
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK..' text with 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, rounded bi-flipback picture cover printed by 'E.J.D.' (Ernest J. Day).
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 832-1N & 7TCE 833-2N
Stamper codes: 2/AP & 1/RT
CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT
An outstanding pair with just one faint spindle trail to each centre hole - otherwise, these are 'as new'.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both surfaces are pristine & 'as new' in strong daylight with just a few insignificant wispy paper-type hairlines visible upon close examination directly beneath halogen light.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has been barely played and is in perfect audible condition throughout with no groove/playwear on any song. Apart form a touch of light background between tracks, there is little to fault here.

EXCELLENT
An extremely clean & unworn example which retains a super high-gloss front laminate with just a few light 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the opening edge but little else. All corners are square and sharp and there is just a touch of light wear to the opening edge but no tears front or rear. The rear panel itself is clean, white & unblemished with no marks, writing or missing paper. Both flipbacks are clean & fully intact and all seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
