THE BEATLES - 'Extracts From The Album A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'
UK 1964 1st PRESS EP
This hard-to-find 1964 UK 1st pressing 4-track EP is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8924
Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK..' text with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in a correct front laminated, bi-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 850-1N & 7TCE 851-1N
Stamper codes: 1/RR & 3/RM

Labels: MINT
A completely unblemished, factory-fresh set with no spindle marks or wear to either centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both surfaces are clean & glossy and bear no significant marks or wear in strong daylight with just a number of harmless wispy light marks & paper hairlines on close examination directly beneath halogen light.
Play: EXCELLENT +
A great sounding EP with powerful, clean & unworn sound from every track. Aside from a touch of light background in the run-ins & between tracks, there is little else to fault on this well-looked after copy.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A very clean & vibrant example with an uncreased glossy front where the only sign of wear is to the lower left spine area where the laminate has split. There are no tears or feathering to either opening edge and the rear panel is clean, white and unmarked.
