Help! Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Mono and Stereo LPs)
Mono MAS2386 1965 (1st pressing)
Cover: 1st variation – CAP 2386.MC1 Gatefold cover. VG condition
Label: 1st variation – CAP 2386.MR1A NM condition
No Ken Thorne composer credits for instrumental tracks.
Vinyl: Retains full gloss with minimal marking/whisps. VG ++ condition
Insert: original capitol olive green inner sleeve PE-12-2BL. Seam splits. Very clean. No writing or marks. NICE!
Stereo SMAS 2386 1965 (1st pressing)
Cover: 1st variation – CAP 2386.SC1 Gatefold cover. VG+ condition
Label: 1st variation – CAP 2386.SR1A NM condition
Vinyl: some marking and whisps. VG+ condition
Insert: original capitol olive green inner sleeve PE 12-2EJ Very clean.
Top side seam split. No writing or marks. NICE!
These 2 LPs have been played but not abused. Both of the covers have signs of use. The whites are aged and somewhat yellowed (as is common with this LP cover). The edges show wear and are weak but not split. There is no writing on the covers! The colors are still vibrant and the printing is legible.
I have posted pictures for your convenience. Please remember that flash photography makes whites look whiter. (And, I felt it important to use flash only to bring out details.) I have tried to describe them realistically.
The vinyl is the real prize! The only concern with playability would be the stereo vinyl, side 2, band 2 which has a pretty visible mark. I could not feel the mark and it is on one of the instrumental tracks. I can only grade visually because I no longer have a turntable.
