Description
The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the items I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
George Harrison-"Ding Dong, Ding Dong"/"Hari's On Tour (Express)" 45, Apple 1879, released in 1974. This is the very scarce pressing with blue/white labels (almost all of these came with black and white labels). This is a Canadian pressing with a US picture sleeve. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG+ condition; each side has a few very light marks. Both sides retain their full gloss. This will come in a VG+ picture sleeve, with light general age/ring wear. Classic George, in a rare format, and is a must for the Beatles completist; this one's very hard to find even though it's not the US pressing (I've been collecting for 50 years and have NEVER seen a US copy).
