Description
This is a very hard to find original UK mono press Of Wonderwall Music.
The catalogue number is Apple APCOR 1 and the matrix numbers are APCOR 1A -1 and APCOR 1B -1. Also in the run out on each side but crossed out is AP 1A-1 and AP 1B-1. The Mothers/Stampers on side one are 1/M and on side two are 1/H (I think).
The record is in practically perfect condition – pristine vinyl on both sides. I have not played it for years but the last time I did I noted it had impeccable audio reproduction throughout – just the tiniest bit of occasional, hard to notice crackle. I have no reason to think this will have changed as it's been stored correctly in a spare bedroom though a clean may be in order to remove any dust.
The labels are near perfect with just side 2 showing any sign of spindle marks.
The fully laminated mono sleeve (I've seen the odd mono copy in a stereo sleeve) is in excellent condition, there is some minor rubbing on a couple of corners and some mainly minor creasing apart from a couple of corners which have a more obvious crease
The spine is fully readable
The original insert is in excellent condition, just some odd fingermarks on the hard to keep unmarked black side and the odd crease.
I don’t know if it originally came in a black inner but this record is housed in a plain white 'patent applied for' one which has a split on one side.
To sum up - a super rare album that would be hard to beat playing wise in what would be a beautiful cover if not for a couple of creases.
Please study the pictures as they form part of the description.
Will be sent signed for in record mailer with stiffeners
