On offer here, is a truly outstanding copy of this original demonstration single
Beautifully preserved, with gleaming dark vinyl surfaces, pristine labels and near perfect audio
Both sides of this first single release are lifted from the 1970 triple LP, All Things Must Pass and as such, display this date on the labels. However, as you can see from the photos, this genuine first issue carries the release date of the single 15.1.71 in the centre. This date is missing from the re-release demo pressing of 1976

The Vinyl
Visually: Stunning - deep black surfaces - I cannot see any significant marks on either side, even under a lamp - impossible to better
Audio: Undiminished, top quality sound throughout - despite the flawless surfaces, there is a tiny bit of crackle evident on the run ins/outs and a few dust pops - both songs tend to overpower this to produce a fabulous performance from start to finish

The Labels
Top condition - no writing or damage - just a few well aimed spindle trails, both sides, suggesting very little play

The Sleeve
Original first issue - impossible to find in this near perfect condition
