·       THE CONCERT FOR BANGLA DESH by George Harrison & Company (Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Billy Preston, Leon Russell, Ringo Starr, Klaus Voorman, Badfinger, and Ravi Shankar)

·       This is Apple Records STCX – 3385.

·       This is a FIRST PRESSING of this APPLE RECORDS BOX SET! How do I know? Because the initial boxes have an orange interior. Second pressing boxes have a white interior.

·       This 3-record box set has custom Apple labels.

·       This box set was issued December 20, 1971. 

·       The box set contains:

1)   Textured Box with attached lid that holds the contents

2)   3 Vinyl LPs

3)   3 textured tan paper inner sleeves

4)   64-page color booklet

·       This concert is historic, as it was the first benefit rock concert, and it brought together many great talents to raise money to aid the starving population of Bangla Desh.

One side is devoted to the music of Ravi Shankar (sitar)

·       The TEXTURED BOX itself is graded STRONG VG to WEAK VG+ CONDITION. The lid has a very light sticker stain near the top right corner. One corner of the box bottom experienced a push/dent. (Please refer to images.)The BOX (lid and bottom) HAS NO VERTICAL CORNER SPLITS.  Often these box sets have corner splits. Sometimes they are even flat when all or almost all of the corners are split.   

·       The VINYL (all 6 sides) is in VERY NICE VG+ CONDITION with some very light surface hairlines/scuffs.

·       The 3 TEXTURED INNER SLEEVES are included and are in STRONG VG+ to NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. They have light signs of handling, and THEY HAVE NO SPLITS. These are the CORRECT TEXTURED TAN INNER SLEEVES for this pressing.  

·       The 64-PAGE BOOKLET is INCLUDED. It is in VERY STRONG VG+ to NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION with just very minor/ light signs of handling.
