THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This scarce variant of their 1964 album is a late-'60s STEREO pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3062
The disc's main feature is that the track 'I'M A LOSER' is misspelt on the side 1 label as 'I'M A LOSSER'.
1st pressing matrices: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper codes: 4/RA & 1,7/OM
Vinyl weight: 143g
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback gatefold cover, with original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.

A bright & unworn pair with no more than 3/4 light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Clean & unworn deep-gloss playing surfaces which bear no noticeable blemishes or wear in strong daylight. Closer examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals some harmless wispy paper hairlines consistent with the few times this disc has been removed from its inner-sleeve.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
A wonderful sounding pressing of this album which has clearly been barely played. All tracks play with a warmth & clarity missing from later pressings and my playcheck detected no evidence whatsoever of nay groove/playwear on any track or in either channel. Apart from a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault and much to enjoy here.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
An exceptional example of this impossible fragile cover which retains an unscratched/unworn high-gloss laminate all-round.
The front leaf is flat & uncreased with just a tiny section of laminate lift on George's shoulder, but no damage or wear to the leading edges.
Both panels inside the gatefold are clean & totally unworn.
The rear panel is equally unworn with just an unavoidable faint disc impression.
The only blemish on the entire cover is a tiny 2mm tear to the lower hinge. The spine is clean & fully laminated.
